I graduated from a "good" school at the beginning of November and found the job market for new grads to be quite dead also.  I kept scouring the ads and found a company that was looking for a Transcriptionist to do pathology.  I worked in a pathology lab for 30 years, so I used that and got them to give me a try.  I was hired almost a month ago and am still waiting for them to finish training me.  They seem to have lots of work.  I get the company emails, and they keep approving overtime.  Do they not have time to train me?  I feel very lucky that I can "afford" to be patient (my husband has a good job).  I am just trying to use this time to do things that I will not have time to do once I am working.

It seems like things are picking up, but it takes a little time for things to happen.  Good luck.  I know you will find something if you keep trying.
