company will allow you to work at home with no training. Usually you would need that just to test. There are things you simply have to learn that you can't get from seeing a few reports and learning some words. There is grammar to consider and formatting specifically for medical documents. There are medications and procedures you would need to be familiar with as well as detailed anatomy. That's just the beginning. Otherwise every person who watches ER would be able to do this job.
