I'm in the same boat

Half the time I don't even hear back whether or not I passed the test...I have spent so many hours doing tests. I graduated with high honors from my community college in Medical Transcription. They have no idea how to tell me to find a job...so where else do I look for one?? It would be nice to get a chance to prove myself. I am soooo frustrated!!

I am in the same boat!
I am in my second semester for AMT (advanced medical transcription) out of 4 semesters. I am in the same boat as you!! I hope that you catch on soon, this career is an every day learning tool.....I wish you the best of luck!
I'm in the same boat as you!
I can relate to your frustration. I had over 10 years experience but took time off to raise my children. After being out of the field 13 years, I could not get a job. I tested many places but was told I didn't have any recent experience. I was limited as well since I only had experience with Orthopedics and Radiology. I enrolled at M-Tec and love it. I am now working part-time and feel that once I finish the program I will have knoweldge of other specialties. My goal is to eventually become certified. Good luck to you.

I stay on my computer way more than I need to right now looking for companies, reading MT posts, and sending in resumes and cover letters. Hopefully, something good will happen soon!
In Same Boat
Hello- Just finished at U.S. Career Institute myself- putting marketing packet together- from what I see on these boards the MTSOs are not going to give us "newbies" a chance! Good luck!
same boat
I graduated 2 months ago and still cannot find any entry level work. Very frustrating. Good Luck!
same boat as you!
I'm in the same boat as you are! I was having a mental breakdown a few weeks ago wondering why I was even in school.
What I find really helps with the mutterers is to listen to it and try to type out what you hear and save it. Then wait a day and go back and it seems somewhat clearer to see the words you typed out and it's been helping me get a little base of learning this garbled vocab ;)
Good luck!
