Check the classifieds in the area newspapers. A lot of times, the smaller, local practices or MTSOs are more willing to take a chance on a newbie. I had 2 job offers before I even finished school just by responding to job ads in the newspaper. Sometimes temp agencies will hire transcriptionists on a temp-to-hire basis, too. Good luck!
