Just wanted to say hi! This career choice is a journey. There are some rough roads, but for the most part I find it interesting. It won't always be easy and you won't always have bad days -- though bad days seem to be a part of the deal. At least you have a buddy to work/study with. Sounds like you are entering into this with some realistic ideals. I would say you'll probably make more around $8,000.00 a year as a newbie. Just depends on how much you can do and what your line rate is. If there isn't any work in the pool/account you can't make money. My second year I made just over $10,000.00; although, for a part of that year I only worked part-time.

Does your school have any job placement services? Do they have a list of employers that will test/hire grads?
