Exact-Med is excellent. You get a very thorough background in anatomy, physiology, disease states, and terminology, as well as actual transcription. They train you on expansion software and there is access to a mentoring program to help you adjust to actual employment--which you will need because there is guaranteed employment placement when you finish the program. It's not cheap, though.

I went to M-TEC & did the exact same thing you're planning.
I had absolutely no problem finding part time work during the evenings and on weekends.
