Can someone who has been doing mostly editing for a while tell me about how many lines I should be doing after just a month as a new MT?  Also, if you have any helpful suggestions for increasing editing speed, please share.  Thanks from a new MT.

To AJ - editing versus transcription
Hi AJ - Have they requested that you switch to VR editing yet?  Do you know anything more about how they are handling transcription versus editing? Thanks!!!!
4 cpl editing VR is about as good as you'll get.
the straight typing portion varies greatly on cpl.
Quality Assurance/Editing

Can anyone give me an idea on how much QA/editors make?  Do they charge per 65 character line with spaces, without spaces, per word, etc.?  I have always been curious about this.

Is that editing VR or standard transcription?

Editing, Voice Recognition, Mentors
I need some information please. Can someone fill me in on Editing, Voice Recognition (I know what it is but don't know how about it in terms of a transcriptionist's duties), and also, can you find someone to mentor you to become a Transcriptionist and how would you find such a person?
