I have just been asked if I have EMDAT experience.  Since I am a newbie, I am not sure exactly what this means.  Can someone fill me in.

Thanks for the info.  Fortunately, I do have the "start-stop" pedal that you were talking about.  I found out that it is compatible with the EMDAT through google.  Is this platform something I have to download?  I have a possible job prospect and want to be able to get all info before I reply.
EMDAT is a transcription platform
You will receive, edit and/or transcribe your reports in that system. You will also need a foot pedal that works with it that costs about $90-100.00 from Start-Stop (it has to be wired for that platform). You may be able to get it elsewhere for less. I hope that is helpful
