Don't underestimate a woman...

we can and will do what we put our minds to. I think a good community college transcription program that offers an internship as part of the training is a good way to get into this field. But make sure the courses are close to what AHDI requires and an internship is key. I think it is great that many of you have gone to the "Big 3 schools", but that is not the only route to go.
I am sorry the originator of this topic was made to feel like she could not do it. She can and she probably will. It is hard, but she can do it.

Hi fellow Michigan woman
I have a 6-month-old and just started working as an MT when he was born. I am very thankful to be home with him and to be able to see all his firsts. I have recently started participating on this site and welcome you. Very unfortunate for your experiences, but, like you said, they have taught you to re-prioritize. Good luck.
A woman told me this week her community college "certified" her as an MT.
I think the problem is the people who are teaching those courses don't know the difference. It isn't really a lie. They just don't know better. Of course they also shouldn't be teaching a subject they know little or nothing about, but that's for another thread, another time.
Didn't she sell it, or just your company to an offshore company. The woman
has a screw loose.
No, the woman who owns this company can't transcribe herself, much less run a company.
