Does anyone have VR/ASR pointers?

My supervisor seems to think that voice recognition is easier and quicker than standard transcription and requires less skill. I find the opposite to be true as it takes me longer to ferret out all the junk voice recognition systems put in, not to mention the speakers themselves chewing gum, yawning, ect. while dictating. I plan to look for a new job pretty soon anyway, but was wondering if anyone had any great ideas on increasing production for editing reports. I can do 1000 lines comfortably in eight hours, but need 1200 or better daily, which means I work some long days most days.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.

You asked for pointers ...
and I'm not saying this to be mean, but from your posts you definitely need to work on grammar (and spelling of "congratulations"). Grammar and spelling are very important and no matter how many medical words you know, you will not get hired with poor grammar.
