I'm afraid this is what I was trying to say. Don't people consider what grades they used to get on their English papers and grammar tests when they think about a career that is all about language? When they take a job aptitute test and it suggests land surveyor, tax preparer, bookkeeper and computer programmer, while medical Transcriptionist and all other language jobs are missing, don't they notice? Do people think they are doing the world a favor by choosing the wrong job for them? Wouldn't a doctor be really mad if I showed up in the OR and dropped all the instruments and slowed him down, but pleaded with him that this was what I really, really wanted to do with all my heart?

I don't want to be mean, but I don't understand.
