Aspiring MT here.....

I wanted to share my plan with everyone just to see what you think!  I enrolled with US career institute for the MT program.  That probably was a mistake now that I know more about the AAMT certified programs.  But anyway,  I feel I am learning tons, and I think the program is good.  How well it is preparing me to enter the field I won't know until I get there!  Has anyone else studied through US Career Institute?  My next step is the Meditec Jumpstart program.  I already passed the test, but I am waiting to start because I need to get the foot pedal, dictionary and other things first.  Has anyone been through this program?  I am excited about it mainly because after finishing the internship (during which time you must get to 98% accuracy to finish), you switch over to a paid MT!  I haven't found anyone else who will hire without a year or more experience!  Anyway,  enough of my rambling, but does anyone have thoughts about my plan???  Kelley
