...."I have two years of transcription experience," then elsewhere in your schooling mention "I have transcribed 40 kabillion hours of tapes during my schooing." What you do DURING school ISN'T experience. It's education. Nothing ticks this recruiter off more than getting resumes from Career Step MTs who use the "I have two years of experience" phrase. You're not the first to use that phrase, you're one of hundreds, and NO, you DON'T have experience--not the kind I need.....unless I am looking for entry-level people. Just be honest with the difference between on-the-job experience and schooling.

Not directing this at you personally, but rather at the CS people who seem to think this phrase is something that fools recruiters into thinking they have the required two years.
