I've been an MT for 20 years, and I also took the AHP course. Contrary to some posters opinions, AHP is a very thorough program. I agree with the original poster that the MT that didn't know a 1/3 of what she needed to know didn't put a lot into the course. With AHP and a little bit of experience under my belt, I know do transcription for a major medical university. Not bad for a course some people claim is not a good one. Hang in there OP....do the best you can with AHP and you'll be landing your first job as an MT soon enough :)
