In Reply to: Question about cherrypicking... - Not this time

A few years ago I was a supervisor working at home for a company out of Texas. I had several girls typing at that time and I always had trouble with one girl who refused to do any of the hard doctors, took all of the big minute reports and refused to learn radiology. I addressed this situation several times even down to assigning work to the girls to keep cherrypicking from happening. Needless to say that particular girl it didn't phase her. It got to a point where I had to go to the management of the company with complaints against her but they never would do anything. So, unless your company stands behind you and can do something about the individual you are pretty much out of luck. I eventually left the company because the management of the company just refused to back up any decisions I had to make and they wanted to let things run rampant. There is always one bad apple in the bunch!
