as 3 of my 4 peripherals are USB's. but i don't have that keyboard thing in my taskbar and when i right click and go to properties, i can't even find it (unless we're talking about the windows task manager) to put it in the task bar. ?? So are you saying i need to click something off on these peripherals before i disconnect them?, or only to disconnect them with the machine still on? Sorry for my abundance of ignorance.
