any manager's a$$.  If we lose our homes while Frank decides whether we get raises during the winter the chapstick will come in handy and we can keep the house keys as a momento of what it was like when we had a home before Frank and Greg and the other MQ crooks came on the scene and decided they were going to rob clients and MTs so they could get bigger bonuses.

form be performing anything other than assisting patient with ADLS, doing vitals, etc.   I can't believe a reputable medical facility would allow her to perform such duties without proper education/certification and this needs to be brought to the attention of management.   If indeed this is true she is a major liability.  If the facility accepts Medicaid/Medicare they would lose their license, not to mention possible lawsuits. 

For some reason, some MTs think since they work from home they can do the job "their way."  This in turn, has caused the MTSO to impose such strict requirements regarding TAT, daily line counts, etc.  Remember - they DO have to meet the obligations of their clients. 

There are truly some great MTs that really require a flexible schedule, etc, but these "no-show, no-brain" MTs are ruining  a good profession for the rest of us.  I admit, it is hard to test for MT companies especially when the tests are long, but I can't blame them a bit - at least it weeds out some of the airheads. 

I am not a MTSO and never have been.  But, because of this situation it is hard for me to find a decent job because of the need for a flexible schedule and because I am not a fast/high line producer. 

Kiss' lead singer Gene Simmons is about 67-68 and with that gross tongue......(have you seen him extend this tongue on any talk shows?)...and the fact they have to paint themselves in black and white and look utterly frightening........because they are virtually a no-talent hard-metal band and have to dress this way to sell any tickets so the public never *sees* just how old these dudes look!

GO MICK, forever young.....I thought he had the body (neck down) of a 30-year-old man last night.  Obviously, some don't REALLY check out BODY and BODY LANGUAGE.  And most people are not in as great a shape as MICK even 20+ years younger and then some.....or at his age of 62.

Today's 80 is yesterday's 60, today's 60 is yesterday's 40, today's 50 is yesterday's 30, and today's 40 is yesterday's 20+.....thank goodness I'm right in one of those categories and moving along with those new age values that have been online for over 10 years that I know of, with no plastic surgery because, you see, it's only and always been about attitude in this life.  Age is merely another number.

As an IC, you set the work hours, not the MTSO. If they are calling you and asking you to leave dinners, conferences, etc., as an IC you say you're not available. If by doing so, they dismiss you, you are an employee and not an IC.

An IC sets their own rate and work hours. The MTSO (or client) either accepts those or not. Period.

I think it may be possible depending on how they are paid per line and what type of accounts they are working on.  But then again, with 6 people (I think you said) all consistently doing that many lines per day, it seems unlikely... but who knows!
