Okay, so illegals have taken over - yes, we all agree that is a problem and they have to be stopped. Like I've stated, I do not support that they get free college education, food stamps, etc. That is not the point of contention - the point is racism, period. It is fine to not condone the behavior of a human being, but not okay to hate based on race. If you'll read the hate spewed here (Mexicans stink, are criminals, are this and a that - mind you, most never qualifying that some are these things, more in tune of all them little Mexicans). We could go on and on - let's get a thread started about how the white person neglected to get the job or college admission because a minority took their place because of affirmative action - on and on, whatever. There are many ills in our society, many programs like welfare, affirmative action, etc, that have been instituted to compensate for the many years of oppression in this country - they had good intention and have failed to certain degrees and like affirmative action, needed to have been amended, corrected but not abolished - like the welfare/food stamp system, social security system, to which the original poster references. But to disrespect a human being because of their land of origin is un-American and IMHO unChristian.
