I have no idea! How do you take one without a foot pedal? what kind of machine do you have that the dictator is coming from? Is it a manual machine where you would have to use your hands to hit the rewind and pause button? There is no way that could work! I had to do that once when my foot pedal went dead and geez, that was a LONNNNNG DAY!!! :)
