I dont know why people stay.  But I do know that I am not.  I have been writing my resignation letter today and will be turning it in.  I have only been with this company for 4 months and just recently in the last few days discovered there was such a big difference in the line counting method used by SS as compared to others.  I decided to compare their line counting with my other job a few days ago because I know what I am capable of with my production, I have been transcribing for 13 years and while I am not the fastest I am certainly capable of achieving a 1080 line requirement per day in an 8 hour period but with this company most of the time I could not  break 1000 lines unless I transcribed nearly 200 reports.  On most jobs I have an average of transcribing 1500 to 2000 lines in 6 to 8 hours at a steady pace and pushing at a harder pace I can produce even more.  When I was first hired their  work flow was slow but over the next few months when their work flow and accounts began to increase and they needed my services more I started noticing the difference so that is why it took 4 months for me to decide to leave.  But as far as anyone else I could not say why they would want to stay and work for free.
