had tmj x 15 years, been to orthos, etc. It's taken 15 years to figure it out . . i've worn splints etc etc . . . it's STRESS!!!!! I'm scared of the surgery--no guarantee anyway . . i was just about ready to have the surgery the last time i had a bad bout but decided not to. There are many other ways to manage it. I have been really good since trying to manage my stress better, relax, massage etc. Like I said, it only took me 15 years to realize what a big part stress plays for me.
