Our Indian friends already know that this is a nightmare with a priohibitive learning curve .. they are abandoning MT and going for jobs in call centers where they can read a script or learn it in a few days .. "ahloo, my name ees Jennifer."

I really wish we could have an open discussion about licensure or credentialing.  I do not believe that a credential given by the association is worth much but I do feel that licensure would mean the buy in of healthcare toward understanding what our value is in the reimbursement system.  Until and if ever we are able to show our value add .. we are in the dumper.  When whomever gets elected I wonder if they will scratch more than the surface of healthcare and what is broken .. my suspicion is business as usual.
