subcontracting

You are basically subcontracting with them. I have no idea what they do versus what you do for the accounts. But my subs I have to collect 25 to 30% to cover my cost for the billing, pick-up and deliveries, printing, supplies, etc. Plus it is the name of my company that is out there and has contracted for the work. Is this what you are doing? They got the account and you provide the typing? It is like a hair dresser they either pay rent for their station or a percentage of what they make.
That is what I think. Unless you went out and solicited the account yourself and the account hired you directly, you are subcontracting through the company that did that.
Patti -- let me know if this is not the deal.

Subcontracting versus IC
At some point this becomes about who makes more/does better. Right?
Getting MT contracts/subcontracting
Are there any MTs on this board who get their own contracts or subcontract directly from the MTSO that individual practices, hospitals, clinics, etc. contract with that would be willing to give me some pointers about getting my own accounts? You may feel free to email me privately if you want. Thank you in advance.
What's your line rate offer for mentoring/subcontracting?
