If you are going to start, start locally like the other poster said. It is tough to start out with anything large because turnaround times are always a problem if you don't have a sufficient number of MTs to cover all shifts. Also, you need collateral to pay your people because sometimes the hospitals or clinics aren't going to pay you until they have audited the lines and know what they're paying for. Most hospitals want a system that can integrate with their system and pull data from them; ByteScribe is good but you have to make sure that they can put out what you need. Nothing is worse than talking to clients and you only have the horse and not the cart. Do your research, go for the small local docs first, or even find private docs around the country. You can buy a physician list, but you can also find them on the web. Just do your research. To build up a company from the ground up takes time, patience, and most of all, money, in the range of 10 grand to start. If you can start with one doc or two, then the startup fees are less. Good luck.

If you VPN is set up to start on startup
This could cause the issue. If you are using the Cisco VPN you can change this setting in the top menu under modify (as far as i can remember). The VPN might attempt to connect faster than what your DSL does when you boot your system. Feel free to email with any questions.
slow startup, Tech sm
Tech says to see how much junk is loading at startup. How do you do this? My other computer is fairly new, not much on there, lots of memory, but takes forever to start up. How can I tell what's causing the slowdown, Tech? Thanks for your answer in advance. Very aggravating to wait so long.
It is a startup company with base in Phillipines. That is all I know! nm
