When I got my first MT job, I was just happy to have a job.  I started out at 0.06 per line and think that is fairly reasonable nowadays, as long as they know that in time, the line rate will go up. 

For me, one of the main reasons I got into this field was so that I could work at home.  Someone would have to pay me A LOT more money to work in office.
