Yoko Ono wears designer clothes and shows up at all the fashion shows. Phony.

I like your approach, straightforward and observant (NM)
Valid question, I agree.
I work for a company of very observant Jews. They have always SM
been absolutely wonderful to me. My gifts have included being treated to a plane ticket and utterly royal treatment on trips where they are, several states away. They weren't called "Christmas presents" but they were.
They also give a lavish Christmas party every year for their Christian employees.
So no, no Chapstick, but am treated like family by the company I work for.
Sheesh.

Sheesh!
I am definitely gone from this site. It has totally gone to the dogs, literally, and other nonsense.
Oh, Sheesh yourself!
You just had to start that again, huh? Sheesh.
Sheesh! I was just going to post an
encouraging post to you, and then read the nasty QA comment. Thanks a lot! It is totally a misconception that QA are nasty - shame on you! I assure you, most of the snarky posters on this board are anything but professional MTs. But forget the encouragement - you just snarked me. Off to better things...
Sheesh! We must be neighbors.

Then why post at all? Sheesh! And yes, if
you are an IC, you should have a contract. What about privacy laws? Liability? You should have all this clearly outlined in a contract for your benefit. You do have problems, but you just don't know it yet.
Sheesh. Don't know why I signed "OP"

Get over yourself, Grammar Police - sheesh!
The self-righteousness of the Grammatically-Correct- Nazis out there is unbelievable. Most of us take a quick break from work, dash off a quick post on this forum, and then get back to work. Not only is there little time for proofreading on this board, but in this tiny little box it's nearly impossible. And well-written, effective communication doesn't necessarily have to be the King's English, either. (Read "Huckleberry Finn" someday.)
We all understand that and get the gist of what is meant when someone types a post with misspelled word or a grammatical error in it. Usually those who feel they are above reproach when it comes to errors of any kind are..........MANAGEMENT.
All she did was ask a legitimate question. Sheesh!

Sheesh, you're too literal. No one said anything about a man to take care of you, just

It was helpful for me, Sheesh. I've done the right thing and
I sincerely hope that others will as well.
It doesn't matter whether or not we agree but the language used and the intent demonstrated. That is what I was talking about.
I fully realize that there will be people who cannot leave a good thing alone. I feel sorry for those individuals. They apparently have no peace, no satisfaction, and no friendliness in their lives. They only know how to destroy, or to attempt to.
I'm going to demonstrate what I want back from others - positivity, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance - whether or not I receive that from you or anyone else. If you do not return to me the same as I have offered, then that is between you and your own soul. :)
I appreciate your point of view; I just don't share it.
I hope everyone has a good evening tonight and a productive day tomorrow! I can't believe summer is almost over with and school starts back soon. Rather funny to me, my son has griped all summer about nothing to do (despite a part-time job, camping trips, Disneyland trip, youth events, etc.) and now that school is coming back around he feels "stressed" because there's not enough time to do all he wants to do! Hahahaha
Yeah, probably because that would be the SMART THING to do! Sheesh!

Sorry about typos, sheesh...been sick and today down for round 3 sm
of cold, bronchitis and mild pneumonia. Every time I get better I start in from the beginning with this illness! This is why I have settled for a significantly lower line rate to go where there are affordable benefits like health insurance so I can treat these things instead of being sick for over a month now and can't afford to go to the doctor because I can't work at my usual level. Goodness me.
Ummmm...whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Sheesh!
Lawsuits in America mean something pretrial? What about the chick the other day in a monsoon who blamed her landscaper for snapping tree trunks! Yep, you keep doing your self-righteous dance. I'll keep working and making $$$!
then, by extension of your logic, IS THERE a right career for this woman at this time? sheesh.

Sheesh. Lighten up. It WAS funny. You don't scan the enitre report, or whatever! It was amusing i

I can't see where that shows that at all....

Boy that shows you what I know
I though it was only the MALES that sprayed.
shows
Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, Lost, Alias, Medium, The Amazing Race. I'm with you will really miss Judging Amy, American Dreams and Joan of Arcadia. The new Ghost Whisper looks like it might be good.
Yes it does because it shows us where you are,
x
It will be new shows. DH saw a
commercial about it a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't figure out the show this past Sunday. I only saw a little bit, but I didn't remember some of the events. Can't wait for it to start back. That is the only TV program I watch during the week.
No I don't like any of those shows or that
dumb Maury Povich. I am sick of all of these paternity tests and all of that screaming, cursing and violence.
This isn't entertainment nor does it represent most of our country.
Shows
I tried to get tickets to O but they were sold out. Thank you all for your suggestions.
I usually do not like reality shows, but this one I
have to see. I love that show!! I do feel sorry for the wannabe chefs dealing with Chef. I gotta say I am watching tonight, the finale!!
Fall TV shows
I love to watch House. It comes on the Fox channel. It was on Tuesday's last season. Not sure yet when it will be on coming up on the new season.
Junk shows.
Sad commentary, but they try to please the majority of viewers. Glad to hear I'm not the only one offended.
AAMT BOS shows 250,000, as does

Talk shows
I thought about it as I do quite a bit of transcribing different types of seminars but when I saw what they charge people for a transcription of the show I thought boy they must not pay much as it does not cost much to get a transcription of a show, less than $20. So they must have some type of automated transcription as for a 8 hour seminar I get anywhere from $500 to $750 and for a three day seminar I get close to $2000. Per line charge. But is frustrating to do sometimes as the audio is not the greatest at time.
But that was my thoughts on the subject.
Maybe if they shows some respect
There are plenty of good MTs out there who are constantly getting robbed by the poor pitful management people you are defending. They ship our work overseas, leaving me without work which takes money out of my hands. They force us to take on bad accounts that they committed to and have to lie about because they are so bad (bait and switch) and I can't get my lines strictly because of poor management, unsympathetic management, unprofessional management. I would love to stay with the same company, but I'm forced to leave because I have bills to pay and management does not give a xxxxx about that.
They put this on and took off good shows like (sm)
Joan of Arcadia, they also took off Point Pleasant for those of us pulling for the good in Christina. Shows over good and evil have been going on like forever... Hello people. But Book of Daniel just deals with life today in a cynical way. Joan of Arcadia said something.
When will the reality shows end?? and...
Who keeps paying for them? Come on America!! How about quality not quantity? Shameful, I think.
When they have bad/boring shows
it seems like there are new bottom 3 people chosen. I thought Mandisa had a good voice, but country was not her best (as the case for many of them). Also, poor song choice. Next week they sing Queen songs. I've been recording the shows because they're just not as good as they have been. I think Paula needs to cut down on her medication. She's beginning to slurrrrrr her words again.

Wow - how disgusting is right. Sure shows you
It's right up there on the Sickening Scale with that video someone posted a while back of "trainers" teaching companies how to bypass American workers' job applications, so they can then justify their outsourcing by saying there "aren't enough American workers".
There sure aren't - not when you kick all their applications under the rug or into the round file!
We need to lobby for laws in this country that will put a heavy tax on companies who outsource American livelihoods to other countries. We might as well put "For Sale" signs on our beaches, farmland, and national parks, because that's what'll be coming next.
Angelina seems like a man stealer, she just shows up
home. She doesnt seem to have a personality either. Oh well, when you're that gorgeous who needs a personality? As far as men aging well, I think Al Pacino looks better now than he did back when he first came out. He had those bags under his eyes, maybe he's gotten plastic surgery. Other bad agers: John Travolta (he looks like he ate the old John Travolta from Saturday night fever) and Nicolas Cage, an old crush of mine, awesome actor but seeming a bit hairless and bloated these days.
Anyone have any fall TV shows you are looking forward to?
Two of my favories: Judging Amy and American Dreams, have both been cancelled. I'm down to ER now - can anybody point me at something that I should be watching? No HBO at our house, just regular satellite programming, broadcast channels. I started to get into Everwood last spring....
I just do not understand those reality shows.
It's so annoying to watch them. I did briefly see the guys puking all over while the women cared for them, then I turned off the TV. Really, do we need to see vomit? That's not entertaining. It's amazing the stupid things people will do just to get on TV. And all the squabbling within the teams. It's all garbage nowadays. Nothing is family friendly or entertaining any more.
Ah, so the IRS has changed it. Shows you how long it's been
since I've paid anybody to do anything for me. LOL
The eScription website shows (sm)
a supervisor screen where that information is displayed. It also shows how much time you spent editing and how much time you spent typing. This is calculated by the week. Are you actually making any money editing VR on a line rate?
New Adventures of Old Christine one of the best new shows, I think

No but I will look for the next episode. Love shows

I was not aware that ability was there and did not have it set up. One of the people I spoke to yesterday asked me about that and it is something that I need to get set up -- but for this time, that won't help.
