FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is a program to transfer files back and forth from your employer to you and vice versa. There are many different ones on line to either purchase or for free. Your employer gives you a User ID and password, as well as the port numbers the FTP will "dial" into. Once connected, your files should be there. You just transfer from their side to yours, do your work, and then send back the same way. It is not difficult to use. It has nothing to do with DOS commands. (??),
