Does anyone know of a refresher course for MT's.   I have at least 18 years experience as either an MT transcribing the acute fours, but for the past four years I have been working as a nurse.  I would like to get back into medical transcription.  My terminology is great, but my speed needs polishing up!  Any suggestions?

refresher course
You could probably pick up speed as you go without any refresher course. You're bound to get a job easy enough with your MT experience and nursing background. One question I have is why in the world any nurse would want to do MT for a living? Just my opinion.
Not sure who only has refresher
Career Step is an excellent option. As stated above, you can simply move through the lessons quickly, test, and move along. You could receive a certificate fairly quickly and the transcription portion could go quick too if you have previous experience.

GOOD LUCK!
I would definitely take a refresher course...
Considering it has been about 10 years since you have worked as an MT you would probably find it beneficial to take a refresher course...good luck!!!
I guess you need a refresher course on copyright law.
