Because it is comprehensive and tests your fund of knowledge that is only acquired through years of exposure to all modalities in medicine.

        I think people get reamed on this board because registration is not - required & people can post (sm)
        Getting CMT may be least of it, keeping up with credits and renewel - fees is another story.
