Anyone out there ever done radiology transcription and then went to medical records??? I've done radiology MT for 15 years, the past three or four years has been IC status. I found an opening at our local hospital for med. rec transcription and considering applying for it. I know after so long, they let their transcriptionists go home and work. It'd be nice to work for a company that takes out taxes and all that stuff. My only problem is we don't have fast speed here where I live. But just curious about anyone that went from rad to med rec typing, and if it's much harder.
thanks!
