question for you

I have come to the realization that MTing 40 hrs per week is not what I want to do long term.  I'm thinking about going for the RN or RRT, but will have to wait due to personal circumstances (we are going to move soon, among other things). I was considering going to MA school at the same tech college I did my MT training - some of the credits I have count in both programs.  I just thought it would be a way to get into a setting working with patients while I wait to go back to school for RN or RRT.

I know the grass is always greener but how did you like being an MA?  I want to ultimately work in a community setting, not a hospital, which is why I was thinking MA might be a good job to do in the meantime.

I know I look backwards, being an MT who is considering MA.  It usually works the other way around.
