question about CCs

Are we required to look up and enter physician's names and addresses that are not in the database? Is so, how much time are we expected to spend on this and do we get paid for those extra keystrokes, as sometimes I might have 3 or 4 names to look up, which adds up to a lot of time spent, not to mention a lot of keystrokes!!
