and ask them why per contract I did not get the raise promised me in 90 days. I no longer work for them, but hey, I am not going to let this opportunity slip by.
It makes no sense to spend more money than the check was to get it to you and for a company to be that wasteful, you wonder what is in the back of their mind. For both you and me, good thing we did not go run and try to spend it in one place!

By law, the landlord has to have receipts and proof of their work and that the work was justified. If you feel you have been taken by your property management company, call your local Department of Professional Regulation (they monitor licensed real estate brokers and agents, among other professions) and tell them what your problem is. They can mediate in a situation like this and they will also ensure that the licensed real estate professional is acting in a legal and professional manner in handling your deposit. These types of disputes are VERY serious to this organization. Mishandling of tenant's deposits can get an agent or broker's license suspended or revoked. It's definitely worth checking out. I'm not stupid and know how to configure the foot pedal. Even though I had done everything to get it to work, I still followed the directions of your company and it still would not work. I find it funny that one pedal doesn't work and one does, at least temporarily, and yet it is "my issue" and not yours. I have every e-mail and not once was it mentioned it was a software or computer issue. I've even had my IT guy work with it and he said it just isn't compatible, that there is a switch issue in the pedal most likely.
I'm through with this. I'll file my complaints as stated above, but I have better things to do with my time than to continue this. I stand by everything I have said.

chapter 13 & refund
I am told that you have to send a copy to your Chapter 13 Trustee every year for three years. If you get a refund they will hold it -- which I think is fair and I have no problem them doing it as I want to pay off what I can to the creditors. You can get back part of the refund if you owe state or city taxes. Your friends did something wrong and fradulent. I have not heard of one who got back their entire refund but I don't know everyone. But my attorney definitely told me that for three years if I have anything coming, I will not get it. I work both as an employee and have my business. I just estimate and don't overwithold.

then will be eligible for this? I also know people who don't pay a dime all year and then end up getting a refund at the end of the year because of the earned income credit, etc. So those people will definitely get this, correct?

Yes, Bush is waiting on Congress to pass his emergency tactic to keep the economy from nose diving. He says this will stimulate the economy by us spending it. I say, it's another Bush tactic to try and stave off a recession while he is turning out his last days in office. I say, it is ridiculous. Take care of the infrastructure, the middle class, strength education, jobs, job retraining for older adults, etc., etc., etc.

My life is pathetic. *sm*
I work outside the home and I make a good wage/yearly income. I took up medical transcription on the side in hopes that some day I could work from home. I have to travel almost an hour to work each way and I live where we have major snow and ice storms and the older I get, the more anxiety I get about driving in this weather. My husband hasn't been able to find a good job (he works about 30 hours a week at a dead-end job with no benefits) and I have a son in college. I find that I work all the time with almost no social life. I also have friends and relatives who seem to be working more than one job either both jobs outside the home or one job outside the home and then doing something on line. No matter how much I work, I never seem to be able to get ahead and it scares me. I do not have an extravagent home nor do I drive a newer vehicle. What is wrong with us that we have to work more than one job to make a living and how am I going to face retirement? I am thinking I will have to do medical transcription from home until I can no longer see and just pray that it is still around. I never in a million years thought that my life would end up like this. I should have listened to everyone when they said it was just as easy to marry a rich guy as it is a poor one.

They WILL refund your money as long as you complain

Hopefully your auction included the potenitality of a refund (buyer may or may not have known of a defect) and there is often a buyer's protection offered for items of this amount. Check out those possibilities quickly as you don't have unlimited time to make a claim.
I would unplug the C-phone and then unseat and re-seat all connectors. Make sure you have the connectors in the right way, and also of course check that volume control :) !

It is possible to do of course but you will burn out fast. Now I do one almost FT (about 30 hours a week) and the other is about 8-10 hours a week-- I still get beat doing that and that is w/o set hours. I find that the older I get the harder it is to work late and I am only 40! But a mid afternoon 30-minute cat nap helps a lot in order to keep going on busy days.

I figure at this point I have a whole herd of loved dogs under my desk each day - along with a couple horses, hamsters, parakeets, rabbits...If only I could see them - must be quite a happy zoo! I actually tried to dump a report today, which I never do, because it somehow got into my pool in error (not my area of expertise), but it jumped right back up at me after the next report. So I decided to just do it. I don't know how well I did, but I did it. It was over 150 lines long and took me forever. Lo and behold, 5 reports later, same guy, same type of report 145 lines. Second time around was easier and faster though. The way I see it is that if I get negative feedback, I'll let them know that those kind of reports really shouldn't come my way.
But cherry picking for line count is just plain wrong.
