Remember, once symptoms of rabies develop, intensive medical care can maintain the heart, lungs, and other vital organs for a while, but death will occur.

So China is supposed to let a rabies epidemic sweep the country because you guys like dogs?!?

I have been there for several months now and never been paid late.  The quality of the work I have been assigned is excellent, no ESL and no hassel about working for a line count instead of hours.   The benefits are acceptable.  I did have one friend who they hired who seemed to have not good luck with their program and she had to quit.  Overall I would give them a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5 and expect to be with them until something better comes along.  

I look on there and I did mine yesterday. Where can I see it. I did not come up with the list of resumes that seems to end in August.

It sounds so ridiculous and self-important.  I hear this myself thing all the time, and it drives me crazy. 

Actors on talk shows especially love to say things like:  "Yeah, it's myself, (why are you putting yourself first - it's like it's doubly wrong!) Richard Gere, and Julia Roberts in the movie."  (I heard an actor do this 4 times during a 5-minute interview.  I was yelling at the TV!  ;o)

Noooo, it s/b:  "It's Richard Gere, Julia Roberts, and me in the movie."  (What's wrong with little old me?) 

It's like when people incorrectly use the word *I* when *me* would be correct.  (Like saying:  "Come with John and I to the party," instead of correctly saying "Come with John and me to the party.") 

They say it thinking *I* sounds better.  I think it's the same thing with *myself.*  It sounds correct to those who don't know better (and you'd think doctors would know better).  To those who do know better, it just sounds... silly! 

One other pet peeve is that I constantly hear (even on the local news, which really drives me crazy) people say *there's* instead of *there are.*  Example:  "There's many reasons to exercise."  There is many reasons?  No!  There are.  (In casual conversation, not a big deal.  But on the *news*?  Wow.)

I used to do shift assignments many years ago ... first off, there are times when you have a newbie (or not so newbie)  who will literally take hours to do a few OP reports, when what you need  is TURNOVER, VOLUME, SPEED ..  in those cases, it may make sense for the overall picture to assign someone new (or ailing) some "easy" work to clear out a worktype ... Ditto, I don't have any problem with requesting (and having request granted) to do certain report types or this-not-that when there is a request for extra hours. If you've already put in your shifts doing luck-of-the-draw, spending extra hours doing the dregs feels like punishment ... and if you're doing an unfamiliar worktype on overtime or extra, your reports will  likely be a burden to QA ... net gain lessened.

There are all kinds of cherrypicking possible depending on the configuration of your job -- switching worktypes, switching accounts, taking a "break" are all ways to pass the exhausting and frustrating on to somebody else ... Oh, and no, I make myself NOT do that ... easy though it appears to be for most people to get away with it.

I totally agree I need to get away from him and, again, you are right. He has told me of his past episodes and things he has done, backed up by his sister and a niece. Of course, his sister adores him and he adores his sister. They have been through a lot and understand each other and his sister is a nice person and has raised two very well rounded daughters so she is on the up and up. Anyway....

You are right. It is obvoius he wants things his way, that is why he is trying so hard at buying me things to make me happy, which obviously hasn't worked to his liking. I'm not playing his little game. I'm onto him.

he speaks perfect English, especially when asking for money!  Also, in my opinion, blanks should be left in the doc's dictation if not able to be transcribed, maybe then they will know that are NOT understood.  With QA fixing them, what need is there for them to care if we understand them or not?
