Since if I start looking into doing this and getting the cards and advertising, meeting potential clients... This may be a dumb question, but do I have to have my own business license/name/etc before I start doing that? Guess it would be wonderful if there was some kind of handbook that someone could recommend about doing this. For those of you that have been doing it for a while, it may not seem so scary to strike out on your own... But it is a little intimidating. I KNOW that I could do it and I live in an area where I could probably find plenty of potential clients.. Just need to know the absolute first step.
