In Reply to: MEDITECH AND WORD - PTill
I haven't used Meditech for a few years ... however, I used to keep my "normals" in word and could copy/paste them into meditech ... the trick was to save them in .rtf format (i.e. without all that invisible embedded stuff) ... making rtf the default save (for the auto-backup etc). I don't know if this will help.
So much with meditech depended then on how willing your very own local office was willing to invest in time and troubleshooting ... for example with an add-on expander...
Good luck. Meditech is "clunky" but I found it's perks (being able to look up medication orders and lab work and other reports to some degree) increased my knowlege base and made me feel like I was turning out a better product ... The industry keeps devolving, but I forgave it its klunkiness for its reliability back then anyhow.
