When I worked in-house, we had a nutball director of medical records. We sat at a big round table to code and she came off the elevator one day and started screaming at us to stop talking (nobody was saying a word). She told us she didn't pay us to talk, and also that bathroom breaks would be limited to 2 times per entire shift,10 minutes each time. We actually got a good laugh out of it because I made flash cards and we would use those to talk (and of course giggle). As soon as she hit the door to go home, everybody headed for the bathroom..lol She finally got fired. A lady came in for a birth certificate copy and she told her to get off welfare and get a job!
