You are asking the wrong question. You will find a job - it may be difficult because its that old high school thing, no experience, we don't want you. But is that true? No, they want you until...

The question you need to be asking is, "will I be able to survive?" The answer is, "Yes, if you have a partner who is willing to pay most of the bills, live at home with your parents paying most of the bills, or are just working to buy that extra plasma tv." You are about to do some of the hardest work you will ever do, for the most cutthroat companies in the business who are doing their level best to get those offshore workers trained and on the job so they can get rid of their *high priced* American workers as quickly as they can. You are totally expendable when that happens. Totally.

My personal advice. Get out of the field before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars buying supplies that those companies will require you to have, although they will not pay you for using those resources.

Get out before you lose your bank account, self respect, and/or dignity. They will eat you alive.
