Someone told me there was one on MTStars. Just do not see where it may be. Can someone point the way? Thanks much! 
There is a medicolegal section on
the job board . . . rarely any new jobs there, but if you go to the Job Seeker's Board and then Job Bank, it is one of the choices there.
AAMT CEs for medicolegal
Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can find anything that I can use for medicolegal CEs for AAMT recertification? I believe I have enough articles to summarize from JAAMT and Plexus for the other categories, but can't find any for medicolegal, and I understand after March 2007 we will need 6 in medicolegal. There are not many seminars, etc around here, that I know of. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has articles they have used for medicolegal CEs, can you please let me know, e-mail them to me, or tell me where you found them at least. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

It may seem shocking to some, but the physician is actually making a permanent record of what it is said. I've typed many reports in my 28 years doing transcription, including sexual assaults on adults, as well as young children. As revolting and shocking as some of the things that are said may be, I just type them as they are stated. If the report is used in court, and the Transcriptionist typed "the patient stated she was beaten and #_________", how is the judge and jury supposed to fill in the blank, used their imaginations?
And its gonna kill you to post on the Company board rather than the main board?

cherrypicking co-worker issue (meant to post it on this board instead of MQ board) sm...
I need opinions please...I work on a very small account with just a handful of ladies. Because of the nature of the software (trying not to get too specific here) we can see who is working online and what reports they are working on in real-time...
We have one cherrypicker on the account. Instead of using FIFO method, she retrieves the reports by author ID - usually picking the better dictators of course. She knows I busted her and she did admit to it in on our work e-mail (not too bright) which I am saving just in case she gets out of hand - so far I'm still able to make money since really most of the dictators aren't bad.
But every night it's starting to wear on me since she's screwing up turnaround time. I don't really want to cause a big uproar being that it is such a small account and I need to work with her almost every night usually one on one.
What would you all do? I want to handle this as delicate and professional as possible because we can't really afford to lose anyone on this account. In other words, I refuse to stoop to her level by cherrypicking right back.
My boss has asked me several times why so-and-so does so much more than I do...I just bite my lip at that point but one of these days I think I might explode and just open up a can of worms....
Definitely one of the other board's people who refer to those on this board as "holy rollers,&

Just wanted some insight I guess on what the whole field is about, i.e. hospitals versus working at home, etc. I know that sounds broad, but there is so much info on here, it's hard to grasp it all.
On this board is the first I have ever
heard of this ASR. So, everybody will be doing this?

but I am out of Amherst. Obviously, if you run out of work, it is not the MTs fault, but if the work is there and you can't be productive, I think there is a problem with the MT. I do run out of work as well, but I have never been on this board complaining about it. I find different times to work when the work is there to get my lines in. It is as simple as that.

I have only been on this board
a short time myself when things started to go bad. I feel it is an outlet for me because as I and others have stated MQ does not care and we want to speak to each other in some form.
I am not afraid of taking any leap. I am trying to stay with a company that I have been loyal to because I have been with them so long. I do not enjoy jumping from job to job. I do not like being treated this way and it only happened within the last couple of months.
There are no proper channels at MQ. I have tried, believe me.
I do have control over my life that is for sure and I know when I am being treated unfairly and now is that time. I will be doing something about it; but I need to find that other job. I just can't quit, cannot afford to, and who knows how long it will be before I can get started again all over.
I have 20 years experience and have never been treated like this so it is a bit overwhelming and unbelievable that it is happening. I expected to be with MQ until I retired. No such luck now.
I will be leaving this board soon but when people, not saying you, are nasty and do not understand what is going on it is hard to not respond to them.

No, this is something different. It's an MT board with MTs
who work different places. It's not a MQ board. Best I can figure it's an MT clique, but I'm not even sure about that. I'm just curious because people seem to be so secretive about it. I used to think they meant MT Daily when they referred to "the other board" but that's not it. They say the board is actually CALLED "the other board."
I cannot tell what board to get on now.
I am totally confused as to what section of the religion board to post on. There is nothing for general Christianity or perhaps Quaker pursuasion, etc.
I also have no idea what I am, liberal or conservative or what. I liked it better when you could have a real discussion. We exchanged ideas. I know sometimes they got out of hand, but I don't like any of these boards now. They are just plain too confusing now.

it isn't offensive if she cannot get enough work and wants to explore other options. in fact, she's got what it takes to survive. go look on another board here that only talks about 1 specific company and see all their gripes. those people aren't willing to do anything but sit and gripe about not getting any money.
to sheryl -- you go girl. do what you have to do. you gotta take care of yourself. don't worry about people getting offended because you are asking for help. i wish you could train for another kind of work, like i posted above.
It's a big hit across the board in US.
ABC was so happy with the success of the first Dancing with the Stars they are doing a second which is more popular and bigger hit than the first. The dancing is great.

everyone. LIGHTEN UP! Stop  everyone's posts! It makes it seem like you're looking for a fight and that's not nice. I happen to like this board just the way it is.
