a long time why would think that things are not suppose to be correct and typos are acceptable? Don't you have spell check? What kind of typos are you talking about? Occasionally one will get through a word you have typed that is spelled correctly but not the word that goes there, but as far as typos, there should be none.
The editors are not there to correct your typos.
I suspect that part of the problem, from reading your post, is that you just took this job at home to be with your kids. That is NOT the reason to want to work at home in MTing. After 32 years I can tell you that with confidence.
You either need to get out or go work in an office so you have other things to do. I assume you must work in a doctors office or something because most MR departments don't have their MTs doing anything by transcribing...
