I havent gotten any letter..or memo..anyway, I would think of course they would keep SE's or offer the SE's FT positions. However, I dont think they would do away with SE's as they dont have to pay for insurance of anything with SE's.

Sanyo Memo-Scriber TRC 6030
Does anyone here have one of these units? I have lost the manual that came with the machine. I am trying to get the erase feature to work but I am not having any luck.
Sanyo Memo-scriber's still in production?
My office manager told me she found they aren't making Sanyo Memo-scribers anymore and we picked out a Panasonic transcriber, which I think sucks. I just looked up the Sanyo online and it's there on the Sanyo site. Are they still making them and my manager is uninformed or is it just because it's not in the Corporate Express office catalog we use and she didn't look beyond her nose?

Per the newest BOS and Stedman's . . .
latest editions, the apostrophe s is now dropped from all eponyms. There will still be some (many or even most) facilities that prefer the 's. However, the "official" guideline is to drop it. I think it sounds terribly incorrect, but I suppose over time it will be more widely accepted.

The newest version is VERY user friendly. The one right before
it stunk. Make sure you're getting to work on one that has the very newest version that came out this fall.
Yep, the newest "fix" for the last few years of PMS and perimenopausal symptoms is
Serafem, which is just Prozac. The drug company "reinvented" a use for Prozac when they needed a new use! So, its called Serafem. You're supposed to take it a few days before your period, or sometimes all month - just depends. Pretty flowery packaging! I went thru the same thing at about 43 to 44 - only symptoms as well, and never had 1 day of PMS prior to that. It just stopped as suddenly as it had started. Just me - we're all different. I tried the Serafem and it didn't help at all - just made me feel like a zombie 30 days of the month! Good luck to you! Just had my LMP 2 days ago - only lasts for about 1/2 day now! Yeah!! I, for one, will not be missing THAT each month. No way!! Also remember if you have female teens at home, those hormones are floating all over in the air! Its HORRIBLE! I have 2 daughters and we all get it the same time now, etc. Oh, yes, and my face breaks out now as it did when I was a teen when I had my period. Never had that my entire life til now. Just today we were all cracking up - all 3 of us had 1 huge zit on our noses!! Nowhere else, and all 3 had the same one on our nose! We are really fair skinned and blonde, and look RIDICULOUS!! Oh well!
It must be a dss file. the newest version will not work with dss files sm
even when you install their codec for it. try uninstalling and install ES from this link their tech guy gave me for version 4.15.

I just went to the website and clicked on the link to download the newest version and it worked.
www.pcshorthand.com is the website. You can download a free trial of the software, but eventually you will have to buy a license. You can also pay a little extra and have them ship the actual software to you with an instruction manual.
I absolutely love GearPlayer 4, the newest version. It plays all files
and combine that with a good stereo headset, you'll be all set to go. I am able to hear so well all sorts of dictators. I cannot, and will not, work with Express Scribe, and I have found no other player as superior as GearPlayer. They have a free download you can trial it for 5 days and see if works in your platform/voice files, found at transcriptiongear.com
