Just got one from the SPCA. I had no idea -sm
what I was in for. Actually it was my husband that wanted him SO bad. I call him Satan. He really is a lovable creature though, when he's not tearing something apart. We also have a greyhound who's been here 2 years now. It took the GH quite a long time to ruin a toy. This guy came in and broke all but 1 of them on his first 2 days. I taught him how to shake hands pretty easily and I'm working on hugs now. The last time I asked him for a hug, he went and gave my husband one. Oh well, I guess he gets the idea.
I freaked when he got on my chair. He kept doing it though and he really is just so adorable, you can't stay mad at him too long. So I put a blanket on the chair and he lays in it when he wants to. At night, I keep them both in the kitchen. Had to take the garbage can out of there, already couldn't have anything on the kitchen table or the GH would steal it. Can't have anything in the sink now or this one steals it. They run our lives, don't they?
Finally, after he got into the closet a few times and it looks like he's just trying to make himself a more comfortable bed than the dog bed I got him, and he seemed to like to lay under the table where we have a braided rug, I put his bed under the table and last night he was perfect. He didn't move. He didn't bark once. He didn't destroy anything or even try.
So mine's training me. Maybe yours will do the same!
Oh, I just have to mention this. When my husband was cleaning up the yard, he noticed that the weim had eaten plastic wrappers from something. Large pieces of it. He's lucky it came out of him! He's stolen crackers and cat food and 1 night they had a party on a whole entire box of dog biscuits. This guy's been sick quite a bit since we got him! No wonder. He's got too good an appetite. Oh, and he escapes under the fence too. By far the most troublesome dog I think we've ever had though our St. Bernard was pretty close in the beginning too.
That's not our experience with our local SPCA... We also lost..
our lab 2 yrs ago from epilepsy and felt it was "time." Our SPCA is a brand new building, the animals are kept in a gorgeous facility, walked every hours, and very well cared for. We got a 2yo Lab mix (looks just like Lab, just a little smaller) for 120 dollars. She came with all her shots and had just been spayed 3 days prior. For 120 bucks I couldn't have even spayed her, much less get all her shots updated. She also came with a month free vet health insurance, a free vet check up, and a month of free behavior assistance with their trainer. I think it was a deal. And she's turned out to be a lovely dog. Fits right in here.
I would contact the bank, stop the auto debits, contact the lender...
Contact the lender, explain that you stopped the payment because of financial difficulty. Ask if they have a hardship plan. You probably have a 20-day grace period on your loan payment, (they report to credit bureaus when 30 days late) and you probably also have a grace period on your insurance. In the meantime within those 20 days of grace, FIND A WAY to make some cash. It seems, at least from my experience, that when you get behind, it is almost impossible to catch up. If you use next month's check to pay last month's bills, you never get out of the hole. I've been in that downward spiral and I understand what you're going through. I've sold things on Ebay, consigned clothing at consignment stores, and worked two jobs just to stay afloat at times. Every little bit helps. It can be done. But don't WAIT, call them today!!
You mentioned the IRS. Try calling the Taxpayer Advocate's Service toll free at 1-877-777-4778. They are independent from the IRS and their function is to help solve IRS problems that cannot be solved through normal channels.

this is insane. when you see who is running this - the person whose claim to fame is actually making the medical transcription business what it is today, boasting over 400,000 MTs.
now she is trying to what, cut that workforce down by maybe more than half.
this is an extremely aggressive push for mobile healthcare and point-of service care, which from what I see completely eliminates the need for people at all, period.
does anyone know, please, is there a future for us in this picture. is there anyone working with these people to help preserve our jobs in some form at least?
where do we write, who do we talk to? this person also used to run the AAMT, and now has jumped ship for the opportunity to make probably millions for front-running this technology. does she even consider the 400,000 MTs (in this country alone) losing their livelihood. does she care?

Nothing that big, he was not there when I tried to contact
about it, sent instant message. it was report that always goes under STAT and I think had to let someone read over some blanks. He contacted me that night and we talked about it and I got it ok but then I had follow up wrist slapping the next workday from the higher up than him. What I was wanting to know does this go on with others, first 1 boss, then another boss- felt like tattling in grammer school with this.

And they gave me the simplest *test* which was basically not even medical dictation, and they tell you that they will *train* you and then provide you with a job, but first you have to buy *their* software. Fortunately I did not fall for their scam, but others have said that after your *training* and they test you, you never really get good enough for placement. Please believe the other posters. It is a huge scam.

You really need to contact your sm
prosecutor's fraud unit and see how they suggest you proceed. You really need to be careful in posting her name and address because since you are an IC and she the "debtor" you may be putting your self at the very least in violating debt collection laws - penalties are not cheap. I believe you posted this a few weeks ago, right? Did you send that formal demand with return receipt giving her a deadline to pay? That's the first thing they (authorities) will ask for. $16k plus is a HUGE chunk of change. I really think you will need to resort to legal matters to collect, and probably by judgment. I know it's frustrating, but posting her name and address on the internet is liable to cost you much more than the $16K.

anonymously to report an MTSO who is dictatorial in setting schedule and pay? I'm literally SICK of this and I am going to DO something instead of complaining about it. Maybe if just one individual does something about these cheapo, demanding MTSOs, it will stop after time. Thanks for the info!
