he hinted around that he'd like for me to do it - I asked him if it meant that I would have to go with him in the middle of the night when he got called in, and he told me that if I wasn't married, he'd call me up & expect me to go.....but since I was married he would let me off the hook there. What a sweetie, huh??? I did tell him that he'd have to give me a BIG raise to do this and he said he would. Money seems to be no object to him - he's loaded and he pays his employees well. But still, I don't believe he could pay me enough money to be on call 24/7 like that and not have a life. HE doesn't have a life outside work, no wife or family, and he works ALL the time. He expects this, for the most part, from his employees. But he compensates them well. I was just curious as to whether or not anyone else had ever run across a physician quite this pampered.........
