You can download Ad-Aware SE Personal for free. It works pretty well for me, but make sure it's Ad-Aware and not Ad-Ware. Ad-Ware is BAAAD ! 
recommend adware, free, but if you can do a system RESTORE, it is much, much easier than battling it
i used to spend days trying to get crap off my computer. learned to back up to system restore from a few days prior to when i noticed everything happening and works like magic!! so much of an easier solution. but several tech support have told me adware and i run it weekly.

FTP transfers voice files from your doctor or company you work for to you. Actually, many national MT companies require you to have FTP access, so this is good even if you don't think you will use it right now. Later when you need it, the free offer will be gone and you will need it but will have to pay $$$

publications about business expenses and deductions. Also agree with poster below, pay quarterly taxes-IRS also has a publication on how to do that.

I would not do it. Go with a free FTP site for use by you and the doctor's office access only.
All you need to do is create files or folders, for example by date, upload them to the FTP site, and the doc's office can in turn download them directly to their computer. This uses a secure password on both parties' end, and is much securer than emailing.
was anyone else offended to get an e-card from a free site from team leader that was

You can send an e-card to casual acquaintences, coworkers, etc., but I do not think a blanket 1 message fits all to employees, bosses, or family is appropriate for Christmas. Multiple antivirus/spyware/adware on at same time?
 Can you run multiple programs for antivirus, etc. at the same time, such as this PC Tools free antivirus that I keep talking about, and the AVG that I keep reading about?
I know you can only have 1 firewall, but I'm not sure about the other security software. Any input? This computer stuff is SO and confusing and oh so frustrating!

Zone Alarm Pro also protects against adware & spyware.
It also protects against pop-ups. I've been using Zone Alarm Pro for years and never had a problem (with Windows XP or current Vista). It doesn't bog my system down like Norton did. The free programs don't protect on all levels like Zone Alarm does.
Adware is extremely limited. Try Trend Micro House Call.

I used to get some really good stuff from Europe, but now its no longer available unless you go to a doctor. They must have patented and bought it to make money! Go to Sally's!

Laser hair removal?
Anybody ever gotten it before? I'm seriously considering it for my upper lip (and maybe chin where there are a few isolated hairs).
I've had electrolysis before, but never saw any improvement over months and months (and lots of $). Even though laser is expensive, I think it'll come out the same or cheaper than electrolysis. And electrolysis was very painful! This is supposed to be a bit painful, but not so bad.
Please share IF you've had laser. What area of the body? How long did it take? Has it been permanent for you?

I have spent thousands of dollars on this for my daughter - three different types of lasers and the problem is still there - and at one point even got worse. Be certain that you aren't having a hormonal problem and that you are not part of an ethnic group where women naturally have more hair - it didn't work for my daughter.

We have spent thousands and I mean thousands of dollars on laser hair removal for my daughter and it would work for about a couple of months and then the hair would grow back worse than ever. We have tried three different lasers and no one gives you a guarantee - so if they try to - don't buy it - read the small print before you sign. I know it is a frustrating situation - it also hurts. Electrolysis didn't work for her either, and she stays upset about this all the time.

Any of you ever had to have an ovarian cyst removed? I'm told I need to have a left ovary cyst removed, along with the left ovary. If anyone has been through this, I am interested in what to expect recovery wise? It is a simple process where you are up and about within a day or so? If you ever work on Escription you will get a lot of laughs - it is voice recognition and I have had a ROS that said the man came in through the garage until the cat fell from the sky - have no idea what that was supposed to mean.

What is the best product for removal upper lip hair? I have tried Sally Hansen but not much luck. I have not tried bleaching yet because I really would prefer to have it gone! Before I spend more money, can you tell me what works for you? Thanks much.

I have used this for years and have compared to Sylvan, Word, and MP Count, etc. When you have it set to count every character, bold, shift, tab, etc. It is great and always higher than the others. Now if you are wanting gross lines like in Word then no it won't be as high because Word counts blanks lines and Abacus counts a line only if there is a character on it. There is also two places to check for it to count the Headers/Footers. If you have the FREE version then it must be the trial or a very old version so you don't have all the features and functions.

Several companies still train on site. In fact, we are piloting an on-site training sm
program, where everyone would come in to the Keystrokes office to train for 1 or 2 weeks. We have a large training room and feel that this may be a way to cover all aspects of an account, be right there to answer questions as they come up and have one-on-one contact.
It will be optional at this point and may not be more effective as remote training, but some people have expressed that they miss the training that you get when you start at a hospital.
We are trying to bridge that gap between working in-house somewhere and working at home.
It may seem out-dated in many ways, but sometimes going back to basics is a good step to take!

Anyone out there able to give me step-by-step instructions on how to enter the dictionary for MS Word to remove a word I entered incorrectly? I'd appreciate any help at all. I know this can be done, because I did it myself years ago, but cannot remember how I did it. TIA.

I used McAfee, Norton, Panda, etc, all types of viruses and worms slipped through and caused my computer to crash. I now use AVG free edition, free upgrade every day and free check every day of my computer, that I set at at 4:00 a.m. If in doubt try www.worldstart.com, lots of computer geeks there and they will answer your questions about computers, etc on their message board. They have helped me a few times with reliable, good information about many different problems on my computer. Good luck.

My family is in the restaurant business and I can cook like a maniac .. so screw the free meal stuff!! I am over 50 .. look great for my age .. make very good money .. have no bills .. and though my daughter lives here she is 32 and wishes I would meet someone and cut her a break!! I was a nurse in another life. Do I want to take care of someone whose body is in worse shape than mine .. no; do I want to cook for someone who makes a mess I have to clean just because the moron breathes .. no; do I want to hear the constant whining, burping, farting, dribbling, and all that other geezer stuff .. a thousand times no!! So, I find a guy who is 10 years younger than me and he is crazy about me and likes my old body, and we get along great .. but I have issues with the 10 years and I feel I am more than a wild piece of keister and nothing is free .. and that is on a good day!!
