Thanks to all who replied.
I think I will wait until I need service and have someone else do it.
I have read EVERYTHING I can find about this and am afraid of doing harm.
Thanks to all who helped!

Help!
I was up too late one evening and saw a commercial for finally fast, a program to help speed up my computer----turned out to be a clever ad but very misleading.
Now I cannot get it uninstalled. I have tried everything.
Any suggesions from you knowledgable MT techies out there?
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply! I learned the hard way it is a scam. It pops up every time I start my computer and is driving me crazy.
The problem is that I am unable to remove. I have tried numermous times. I open control panel, click remove I get a message "file does not exist". I know this is wrong but do not know what else to try--------even states how much space it is taking up.
Any suggesions appreciated.
Thanks!

My computer crashed with a month of DLing this software. They let you run the program for free but to fix errors, they want a credit card. Fine. But, each time I signed onto computer, error message from the program came up and locked up my computer. After a million Cont Alt Deletes, my computer crashed. It was not expensive but had the things we spend years creating. So, went all out and finally bought a laptop from Dell for nearly 2 grand - with Vista - which was useless which I did not realize until 21 days later when returning it was now impossible. So, bought yet another desktop with XP on it for 400 from Dell.
If you Google FinallyFast.com,you will see we are not alone. I was watching the CNBC channel when the woman said: Rather than buy a new computer, just this." A Suze Orman-type show.
And, BTW, my laptop crashes about once a month on average. Microsoft only allows 3 times for Word 2000 and Word 2003 to be put on a computer, I have also found out. The 400.00 computer is carrying me through.
It is unbelieveable what is going on - For instance, two new flashlights have stopped working for no reason unless battery life is now 2 weeks whether they are used or not.
The junk from China, dirt cheap but requiring replacement every 6 months. Service is horrible everywhere. My new Coleman stove (which I now use as my gas was turned off) has a defect which keeps the lid from staying up - a piece of metal is occluding the hole where the stand should go...little stuff---a keyboard, wireless - 50 or so dollars - I go to place batteries in it and the batteries are to go in opposite directions. Well, the outfitted battery place is desiged for both batteries to go same direction - can't get power - I take it back, he gives me another, I take it home, and the same thing...(made in China).
So frustrating. So time consuming. Can take an ordinary uneventful day and turn it into one of frustration and that horrible feeling of being ripped off without recourse.
Screws missing, holes not in the place they should be, loose fittings, just garbage. It blows my mind how fast this has all happened.
