The jobs being outsourced to India jobs are only benefitting a very small segment of their population. There was an interesting piece about the increasing amount of cases of AIDS in India in the LA Times and it stated in the article that a majority of India's people are rural with very few benefitting from all of the outsourcing that has taken place in their country.

As for more jobs going overseas, I feel that the opposite is happening. I feel that there have been a lot of companies only looking for US MTs and it seems like some of them are starting to pay better. I also believe in the next 2-5 years we are going to see more jobs coming back to the US and things being done locally.

I also agree with the poster that we need to start taking care of our own more.
