Per Stedman's:
Irregular, spasmodic, involuntary movements of the limbs or facial muscles, often accompanied by hypotonia. The location of the responsible cerebral lesion is not known.

Not all related to repetative movements
My DIL and daughter both have carpal tunnel, one works as a parapro at a school, the other works in financing- neither have used their hands as much as me when it comes to repetition, over 30 years and counting and I don’t have.
