I have done this work. It can be difficult if several people are in the conference. It all depends on how many, how they want the transcript, etc. If you clearly understand what the client wants, then you will determine the degree of difficulty. I found it easier to do straight transcription but you take what you can get in this economy. You can set it up as Q: question and A: Answer or M: Male and F: Female, it doesn't take a rocket scientist but it does take patience. There were others who would call in sick when this type of transcript came in. Personally, I took it as a learning curve and rolled with the punches. Many different opinions, depends on what kind of conference it is, etc. and how much you need the work. Just FYI.

What do you guys think about transcribing medical conferences. It's totally different from regular MT work, but do you think there's as much money in it? Does anyone know anything about this versus "regular" MT work?
Does your company pay for mandatory training/conferences?
Not as a new hire, but as a regular employee when they have a mandatory phone conference, or training for new platform, ASR, etc. ??
I would not be holding press conferences criticizing the government I want to help me find my
daughter nor offending the citizens of the country I wanted to support me. She has clearly lost her mind and needs a spokesperson and she should vent to her husband not the world, although her vents and concerns are unfounded according to their attorney and the prosecuters. They did not have EVIDENCE to keep these brothers. No EVIDENCE. What part of this doesn't Mrs. Twitty get.
