If you think having CMT behind your name makes you more qualified, more capable or more careful about your work, you are greatly mistaken. I have worked with both CMT and non-CMT managers, supervisors and coworkers and all that matters is the personal character of the person, not the CMT initials.
If you feel better about yourself because you forked over %300 to an organization that has done everything possible to ruin this job in this country, then I think you were sadly lacking in self-confidence and self-esteem before.
Keeping up with changes in the medical business is nothing new. Us old fogies were doing that long before AAMT anointed itself the voice of the American MT.
