you lost though. you resorted to name calling when you could not make your argument. sweet. i love it when i see people like you who believe you know something and when logic proves they don't resort to name calling. it says lots about you and your character.

Firstly, yes, God bless our troops!
Secondly, we have a Constitution that guarantees our freedoms. I, for one, am not about to give up my freedoms for "the war on terror." This whole premise is insane. Remember democracy? A government FOR the people, BY the people. We are about to lose OUR democracy to GIVE IT AWAY to a foreign people who HATE US! It is beyond my comprehension how people are so naively ready to give up our FREEDOM. The Constitution, which has been stamped on and spat upon by this regime we have in the WH, also guarantees our RIGHT TO PRIVACY. What is the matter with you people who are willing to just hand it over? My grandfather, father, husband, son have fought to KEEP our rights, and you're so nonchalantly give over any and all rights just to keep you safe? Then, you tell me, who are the cowards?
No, I think the OP is suggesting throwing a fit to get the troops home NOW.
x
I second that, and thank you to all of our troops and men/women in uniform who help keep us safe.

Thank you, Dolfan. Very succinct and correct.

Dolfan, your problem is you always think its the SAME person, and its not. Its a lot of different
women who feel generally the same way about issues that YOU disagree with. You call everyone the same troll, and I know for a fact that one post you slammed me on for being a troll, there were like 3 or 4 different women in the same thread. You are just lumping anyone who tends towards different ideas, whether about work, or about parenting, or even about hot actors, as one horrible person set on tormenting you. I assure you, its not that, and there are many, many people on this board with differing opinions - not just one person. You know I used to even jump in so many posts and either defend you, or urge you to calm down. You go off all the time, and even turned on me BIG time once, flaming me to a crisp, and you had no idea it was me. I just gave a different side on a thread, and you came in and crucified me, and it was ME. You've done it to others, too, always jumping to the conclusion that its one person, and a troll.
whatever dolfan. touched a nerve apparently.
don't let the truth ruin a perfectly good Sunday. that is if you actually can absorb the truth of my posts which are probably perfectly clear if one is not so angry they can't see straight like you are at this point. go back to dreamland my friend and stay where it's all comfy and cozy and no one disputes your FINAL WORD!!!!(hopefully)
PS: We all state opinions here and not all of us are "liars" or "trolls" because they don't agree with your opinion. Meditate on that.
Hey Dolfan! You haven't felt me a troll before, and we talk a lot!
The poster who is freaking has turned the whole thing into an issue over camp, etc. It was NEVER about camp. I still think her comment was awful, and I know she knows it was, too. That's why she is still carrying on over this. She likes the kids in camp all day, and gets them back exhausted at night. And I asked an honest question, why have kids? I love kids a heap, and I can't stand mothers who are so blatantly thrilled to get rid of them as much as possible. And her wording implied such - while, for instance, your post was the complete opposite. You are sending your little girl to camp for HER benefit, etc. Its very obvious in the tones. Naturally this Mom is NOW trying to sound like June Cleaver, and maybe she is. But her post was NOT. Would have had less repercussions if she had just said, "Hmmmm...maybe that didn't sound good. Didn't mean it like that, but...", but she meant it the way she said it, and I think parents like that are awful. Is it my business? Yup, sure is, cause her kids are in this world with my kids, and this is one messed up world right now. These kids all need help. Many parents have such "fake" relationships with their kids, and that's so sad. And then she justifies these camps like what on earth would the poor kids do at home? sit by her feet? Huh??? Having your kids at home in the summer does NOT mean they sit at your feet. That's ridiculous! I lived for the summer - out in the yard, playing baseball, fishing, swimming, hop scotch - the poster also acts like her kids would be deprived were it not for an organized activity every day. Double sad, and just trying to justify her original post, which she obviously did not put much thought into. Yeah, sure, just posting about her kids, right? Would she have given more thought on a dictaphone post??
Dolfan you are so far off base you are foolish. I don't troll these boards and don't come her
that often. I am baby-sitting and I can be on the computer on and off today. Can't work. I don't know what you are talking about trolling when there is a discussion going on with people's taste in men. You are LOL with your "wisdom" and "insight" on trolls.
PS: Sorry if you like girlie men. Didn't mean to offend you. It is what it is and the unisex look is okay for some, male and female.
AWWW
the poor baby. I love animals, especially dogs. It is just tearing me up to see all the displaced ones right now. I hope they all find their owners, because I would hate to be separated from my two beagles and our fat cat. I live in Mobile, Alabama and really wanted to evacuate for this storm, but I just could not leave my animals, so I stayed. Thank goodness, though, we were only without power for three days!
Also, you'd be suprised at how much income you can lose from missing three days of work from two jobs! I don't think I'll ever pull out of the hole!
awww thank you! sm
It is "tomorrow" now and I'm starting my "real" shift.
Everything is quiet... but I bet the crappy dictators are still there!!
Yep, full moon, but worse is that Mercury is going retrograde... for a while too...
Okay, back to work and thanks for "being there" LOL.
BTW... how DO you bake without flour everywhere? I can't do it even WITHOUT the little hands!!
awww thank you
You're a sweetheart ! And good luck with your situation as well.
awww!! How sweet! (sm)
I only wish I would write half as eloquent a post praising good QA personnel.
I work on a platform now where I can easily and quickly go back and listen to my blanks after completing the report just to see if they are any more clear. It's incredible what I can actually fill in on some of the more difficult dictators when I'm at the end and the voice characteristics are more familiar. However, before this platform, who knows what kind of blanks I left!!
I'm sure QA likes me more now LOL.
You are very kind to take the time to post this. We all appreciate it!
If it makes you feel any better, I'm starting a long night/morning shift in ESL-land! ;-)
Thank you again!
Awww..thanks. That's sweet.
I already got hugs a plenty from my hubby. I don't go that way, but thanks for the sentiment. :::smooches:::
Awww I loved her...
she was a great actress and she made me laugh. RIP Shelly.
Awww, that takes the fun out of it! sm
I look like a little kid when I eat corn. I just love it. I wind up making a meal out of it. I have butter, salt and pepper on my face and don't bother to wipe it until I am done. Terrible, aren't I? But, it is so yummy.
Anyone you can't spell JOB shouldn't AWWW anybody else..nm

Awww, thanks! Yes, it's the judgmental, you have some serious issues lady, kind of people
that has kept my ENTIRE family from the church. We had neighbors who would just look down while walking to their car on their way to church. My mom would always frantically wave and they would just look terrified! She is so harmless. She really is. I don't deny the other posters above that there is something wrong with her, but she's always lived life to the fullest.
If you pray, remember Ann. She had major surgery today for tumors in her lymph nodes. This may be cancer coming back. Biopsies will return in a week. We are all so anxious. I wish I could be there for her. It breaks my heart. She lives over 2,000 miles away. I am her middle daughter. She has no one up there but my dad who just called and said she was in recovery with drains sticking out of her body. I just sent 2 bouquets of flowers via the internet which I know she will love (one from me and one from sis).....Thanks for your kind words towards my mom who really does love everyone!! She just has a "funny" way of showing it.
got the "phone call" -- get this, MQ has hired a bunch of telemarketers to call all of us to
we received our "incentive packet." They don't even have the wherewithall to contact us personally. These are temp-agency hired telemarketers sitting around a boiler room making sure we're reading our mail.... told him it don't pertain to me because I've been demoted from FT to SE.... He said, "yes, the letter is vague, but it does pertain to FT as well as SE...." yeah right, we'll see.
*70 will disable call waiting unless you are expecting a call and want it on (nm)

On-call requires on-call compensation by law
This field gets more disgustingly grotesque daily.
well that's cute, how'd you do that?
Too cute
Giggle. Next you'll be telling us you're qualified as Chief of Staff at the hospital you nurse at and transcribe for. Chuckle. (Reminds me of the saying, Jack of all trades, master of none.) Chuckle.
Cute!
Good one!
That's cute. :) (NM)

Cute, but THAT will be the day!

too cute!
And I totally agree!
That's cute...
But outsourcing to India doesn't concern me on iota. Remember ..... they speak a different language than we do and when doctors here hire them, they get exactly what they pay for, which, when you add all things in, they charge for basically equal pay for a real sloppy job........
Never fear, my dear.....India's a joke......
That's why they'd much rather work call centers and do - more money for less work. Much easier to speak it - albiet half azz - than transcribe it.
LOL!! Cute.

That's cute! I got a second dog for the
older dog as a playmate and they are stuck like glue now. I wasn't too sure about it at first, the older dog is a Golden and the little guy is a Cocker, but it has worked out. Now the older dog is in his second puppyhood, gets into mischief just like the little guy and teaches him all the good and bad ropes. And of course, they don't tell on each other when the Kleenexes are shredded on the floor. In fact, the new dog was such a stinker that I went to midnights just to get work done. Couldn't let him out of my sight for a minute. I took 2 hour naps during the day when he slept, otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten anything done. He's much better now that he is a year old.
cute : )

Cute but not really intelligent
anyway, I have to work 2nd and 3rd shift because all the MTs are busy crying and complaining on this forum instead of doing the work they are supposed to do. Oh boo hoo, I have work oh boo hoo I ACTUALLY have to sit and type. They expect me to actually WORK for the money they give me. BOOO HOOOOOOOOOO. By the way, at least I HAVE a personality.
LOL! That was cute. Thanks for the chuckle.
Cute and funny! :) nm

This is so cute! Thanks for posting.
I needed the smile and the "warm fuzzy" today.
very cute site to see
Go to www.whitehouse.gov and on the right hand side there is a like to the BarneyCam. It's a very cute video Mrs. Bush made to take to the Children's Hospital in DC when she visited the kids. No matter your political persuasion, it's just too cute and you also get to see the holiday decorations. My grandkids have had a ball watching it tonight.
I have and think it is really cute. I just wish pounds
would melt off me like the snow melts off the little boy LOL!!!
Cute avatar!
I've done that, too, unfortunately - when I was a kid. Takes the hide right off!
